Clothing Donations

To ensure the women we assist step into new opportunities with dignity and confidence, we only accept clothing that is cleaned and on hangers.

Condition of Donated Items
  • We accept new or cleaned clothing in excellent condition that is in season, in style, and work appropriate.
  • We accept only new undergarments with original tags.
  • We cannot accept men’s clothing or any clothing in bags or boxes.

2026 Donation Drop-off Dates and Times

Donations are accepted on the second Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. No appointments are needed. Dates and times are subject to change. Please check our website or follow us on Facebook for the most up-to-date information.

We are not accepting donations in December. Donation drop-offs will resume in January, so thank you and until then!

Current Donation Requests

The list of current donation requests will change based on the needs and preferences of our clients. Please check this list before you donate.

  • Dresses
  • Pant suits
  • Jackets and blazers
  • Cardigans
  • Blouses
  • Shoes
  • Purses and totes
  • Jewelry, scarves, belts
  • Black tights (not accepting pantyhose)
  • Bras, panties, shapewear (must be new and in original packaging)
  • Winter coats, boots, hats, scarves, and gloves (accepted all year)
  • Department store shopping bags (clean and in great condition)
  • Tissue paper (new and non-glitter)

Poised for Success has a 501(c)(3) tax status form the IRS. All donations are therefore tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Poised for Success is self-funded through fundraising, private and corporate donations, and grants. We may sell or consign donated items with the proceeds helping to replenish inventory and support our operations, ensuring we can keep doors open and continue serving our clients.
