Clothing Donations

We are returning to receiving donations on the second Saturday of the month, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Donation drop-off schedule for the balance of 2024
-Saturday, November 9, 2024 (10-1 p.m.)
-Saturday, December 14, 2024 (10-1 p.m.)
We look forward to seeing you in November and appreciate all your kindness in enabling us to continue our mission and helping women in need fine gainful employment.

CONDITION OF DONATED CLOTHING ITEMS
Per our stated policy on the condition of donated items, we only accept clothing that is clean, on hangers, and ready for our clients to wear.
Clothing must be:
- On hangers (clothing that is off-hanger, in bags or boxes will NOT be accepted)
- Cleaned and in pristine condition for our clients to wear on their job interviews and to work
- New or like new condition
- In season, current styles and appropriate for work
- Accepted off-the-hanger items include: footwear, totes and handbags, jewelry and accessories, and new with tag undergarments

- Jackets
- Blouses
- Pants
- Shoes
- Purses and Totes
- Jewelry, Scarves, Belts
- Black Tights, Knee-Highs, Socks (not accepting pantyhose)
- Bras, Panties, Shapewear (must be new and in original packaging)
- Winter Coats (accepted all year)
- Winter Boots, Gloves, Hats, Scarves (accepted all year)
- New and Pristine Department Store Shopping Bags, Tissue Paper (no glitter)
All donations to Poised For Success are tax deductible, as we have been determined by the IRS to be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Poised For Success is self-funded through fundraising, private and corporate donations and grants. We reserve the right to sell/consign items with the funds being used to supplement low inventory and to help keep our doors open and the lights on.
